What a fabulous day spent on Bald Head Island photographing this amazing high school senior!

There’s something so exciting about hopping on the ferry to Bald Head Island, soaking in the breathtaking views knowing you’re about to embark on a creative adventure.

Colby’s mom, Kristen, greeted me at the ferry and soon we were cruising in the golf cart through the island’s serene streets to their lovely home. Colby was waiting patiently, and let me tell you, she looked absolutely STUNNING—radiating that perfect blend of excitement and calm that comes with photo shoots.

With so much of the island to explore, we set off early to make sure we could capture it all. From quaint bridges, charming sidewalks, the marsh, the chapel, rolling dunes, and of course, the ocean—we didn’t miss a beat! Each location complemented Colby’s effortless beauty and vibrant spirit.

Colby was an absolute dream to photograph. Her laid-back attitude and enthusiasm made the session not only easy but so much fun. It’s these kinds of shoots that remind me why I love what I do—getting to capture someone’s personality is an honor.

Senior year is a time filled with anticipation and new adventures. I can’t wait to see where life takes this beautiful soul!
