From the very first moment I met Marley, I knew her senior session was going to be something special. She radiates a kind of effortless energy! Laid back, full of life, and the kind of presence that makes everyone around her smile.

We began in the garden, where the lush greens created the perfect backdrop for Marley’s natural beauty. But the magic truly unfolded when we made our way to Wrightsville Beach.

That evening, the sky seemed to put on a show just for us. Pink lit up the sky! As I photographed Marley against those breathtaking hues , her mom asked, “Are you getting that pink sky?” I smiled and replied, “Of course I am!”

It wasn’t until a little later that her mom shared the heart behind her words: Marley’s grandmother, who had passed away a few years ago, was lovingly nicknamed by Marley “Pinks.” Whenever the family sees a pink sky, they feel her presence with them. And that night, it was clear, Pinks was there, wrapping the evening in love and light.

Marley, you are such a BEAUTIFUL person with an incredible future ahead. It was an honor to capture these moments for you.
