I have known the Ashby family for years, so documenting this milestone for sweet Jane Claire was extra special. What made her senior session even more meaningful was photographing her right here in Wilmington on her family members’ stunning property, nestled along the Intracoastal Waterway. Property like this is rare around here—an absolute gem—and the perfect backdrop for such a memorable session. It’s truly a place that feels timeless and serene.

We kicked things off on the driveway lined with towering oak trees dripping in Spanish moss. From there, we wandered to the stables, and then made our way down toward the water where more beautiful trees framed each shot effortlessly. We wrapped up the session at the dock, and I’m convinced the sky showed off just for Jane Claire that evening. The sky was painted in pinks which created the most gorgeous glow for this BEAUTY!

Jane Claire has such a laid-back, easygoing vibe that sure made my job a breeze. She’s stunning on the outside and truly remarkable on the inside…kind, intelligent, and genuine in every way.
