I was so excited to have the opportunity to photograph Maddie who lives here in Wilmington, North Carolina this summer!
Maddie is filled with grace and style and is absolutely beautiful ! She is a dancer and it shows in every move that she makes. In addition, she is SO much fun with great energy and was willing to go along with some of my wild ideas.
For the downtown shoot Maddie had her hair and makeup done by the talented Kelley Raye Gore Jefferson. Kelley is a local hair and makeup artist who has worked with many A-list Hollywood stars. Kelley created a fresh and stylish look for Maddie that coordinated with all of her outfits.
After hair and makeup we set off for downtown Wilmington and had a blast walking around capturing these amazing images.
Next, we met a few days later for our second and final shoot. My husband and I took Maddie and her Mom along with their best friends who were here visiting from Atlanta by boat to Masonboro Island. Masonboro is a magical place with an epic landscape and is one of my favorite place to photograph clients.
I love how we took these shoots from edgy to elegant creating a variety of styles for a beautiful portfolio.
