It was a gorgeous summer day and I had the most lovely subject to photograph.
Nancy is a Senior at Sanderson High School in Raleigh, North Carolina. I met Nancy and her Mom, Robin and we set off for an afternoon filled with adventure.
Our first location was one of my favorite tree lined streets in Wilmington. Despite the fact that there’s always tons of traffic on this street… it’s worth waiting for the perfect opportunity to take pictures.
When Nancy and I spoke on the phone a few weeks before her shoot she mentioned that she likes simple backgrounds and that she loves bright images. Yeeeeessssss!! I knew right then that we were a perfect fit! So we went to multiple locations downtown that I thought she would like.
After spending time downtown we headed to the marsh and then to the beach where I had to work quickly because the sun was fading fast! I love the epic scenery of the marsh and the crisp white sandy beach.
Nancy… you are BEAUTIFUL inside and out! You are an amazing young woman with such a bright future ahead of you. I hope you have a FANTASTIC Senior year! I had a blast photographing you and spending the afternoon with you and your Mom!
