Senior year is a time of reflection and anticipation, a moment when one chapter closes and another one begins. It’s a period filled with excitement, nostalgia, and a bit of bittersweetness.
This was an extra special senior session for me because Henry’s grandmother, Dixie was a very important part of my life growing up. I could feel her presence with us on the shoot. I know she was looking down on us thrilled that I was the one documenting this moment for Henry and his family.
Senior photo shoots are all about personalization. It’s a chance to express yourself and showcase your individuality. That’s exactly what we did with Henry’s shoot!
When Henry’s mom, Lisa and I were discussing his shoot she mentioned that he enjoys roller coasters and spends a lot of time at Kings Dominion. Lisa also mentioned that he has always had a passion for trains. After chatting back and forth we decided we would do part of his photo shoot at Kings Dominion and the second location would be at nearby farm and train track.
We had so much fun walking around the park! Henry sure knew many cool areas to take pictures. It was obvious that he’s spent a lot of time there.
After Kings Dominion, we drove to a beautiful farm. I was captivated by the stunning scenery and the amazing colors in the sky that evening. I knew we were about to take some epic shots and that’s exactly what we did.
Henry…you’re an all around AWESOME young man with such a bright future ahead! I’m telling you… that smile of yours will warm any heart, it sure does mine! Keep doing you because you are AMAZING! I can’t wait to see where life takes you! Wishing you all the very best with everything you do!

These are amazing photos of my handsome Grandson, Henry! I especially like the ones taken at KD park, because they truly show that unique roller coaster enthusiast side of him. Excellent job capturing your subject and showing what a great young man he is!
