I recently had the pleasure of photographing the AMAZING Gracie Burns! From the moment Gracie reached out to me, I knew there was something special about her. Her enthusiasm and independent spirit were evident right from our first email exchange. I was thrilled to be the one she chose to document this important moment in her life.

Gracie and her family traveled all the way from Lillington to work with me. Gracie found me online and loved my style and felt that I would be a great fit to help make her vision for her senior photo’s come to life. Gracie…I think we nailed it! She wanted a mix of urban shots, along with some elegant beach scenes.

We kicked off her shoot in Downtown Wilmington, exploring alleyways and capturing some seriously cool shots against various backdrops. One of the highlights was definitely our stop at the lip wall – the perfect spot to showcase Gracie’s fun and vibrant personality.

But… the excitement didn’t stop there! We then headed to Wrightsville Beach, where we were greeted by a stunning sky painted in shades of pink and blue. It was like the universe was conspiring to make Gracie’s photoshoot absolutely magical.

After getting all the shots I had planned for, I asked Gracie if there was anything else she wanted to do. Without hesitation, she said YES…she wanted to get in the water. Now, let me remind you, the water is freezing in early March! When I asked “are you sure?” Gracie’s response… a resounding “ABSOLUTLY!” Her adventurous spirit and love for life were truly inspiring, and I couldn’t help but admire her complete joy! Gracie you are truly beautiful inside and out!

Gracie, you are one-of-a-kind. Your zest for life is infectious, and I have no doubt that you’re destined for incredible things. I love that you have a strong faith in God and that you want to spend your life helping others. Thank you for allowing me to be a part of your senior year journey. I can’t wait to see where life takes you! Stay FABULOUS!
