I’ll never forget the call I received from Taylor’s mom, Kelli. She reached out the day I opened up my calendar for the upcoming school year, and from the start, I knew this was going to be an amazing photo shoot. Fast forward six months, and the day of Taylor’s senior photo shoot had arrived.

We started Taylor’s photo shoot at one of my favorite gardens. The day was perfect—blooming flowers and lush greenery provided the most picturesque backdrop for this beauty. As we walked through the garden, I had the chance to get to know Taylor better and let me tell you… she is AWESOME. Her energy and grace shone through, making every shot feel effortless. Taylor… you are GORGEOUS!

From there, we made our way to Wrightsville Beach, where Mother Nature was showing off with one of the most stunning sunsets. The sky was painted with soft pinks and blues, creating the ideal setting to capture Taylor’s radiant personality.

As the session came to a close, a tender moment unfolded. Kelli, got a little emotional. She shared that Taylor’s father is deployed and that she was disappointed that he wasn’t able to be here for this milestone. Hearing that tugged at my heartstrings and reminded me of the MANY sacrifices our military families make.

Major Glass, I want to personally express my gratitude for your service and sacrifice. It has been an honor to capture this special moment for your family. I hope these images bring you joy and allow you to share in this milestone, even from afar.
