I was so excited for Sydney’s senior session — and even more thrilled because it was a joint session with her best friend since kindergarten, Lilly! These two were truly a dream to photograph. They fed off each other’s energy, constantly encouraging and hyping each other up throughout the shoot. It’s so obvious why they’ve been best friends for so long.

Every time I look back at these beautiful images, I can still hear the laughter and excitement from that day. Sydney’s joy and her genuine love for life shine through in every photo.

Sydney, I’m beyond excited for you as you head off to The University of Alabama next fall! It’s a long way from Raleigh, but I have no doubt you are going to thrive, make amazing memories, and achieve greatness! You’re absolutely stunning — inside and out — and such a remarkable human being. Stay fabulous, and thank you for choosing me to document this incredible milestone!
