Meagan & Jeremy | Engagement Session | Pony Pasture | James River

My amazing niece Meagan Dalton and her totally awesome fiancé Jeremy Shipp have chosen me to document their next adventure… Oh my GOSH… I’m SO EXCITED!

Meagan and Jeremy met while taking an improv course at the Coalition Theater in Richmond, Virginia. Never did they expect to find love in an improv class!

These two found themselves dating during the pandemic which led them to spending a lot of quality time together. They cooked, skated, paddle boarded, and enjoyed meaningful conversations. They knew they had found their forever person.

I couldn’t wait to take my niece and her future husband’s engagement pictures! I drove from Wilmington to Richmond and met them at their beautiful new home. We took pictures at the Pony Pasture on the James River where we had a blast jumping from rock to rock, hoping we wouldn’t fall in or get wet. I was able to capture beautiful images of two remarkable people and we all stayed DRY! Success!

If you know Meagan, then you know she loves to roller skate. Also, Jeremy grew up playing roller hockey in his neighborhood in Ohio. So we had to incorporate roller skating into their engagement session. This was a must for this dynamic duo! These two love doing life together and find so much joy in everything they do!

Meagan and Jeremy… I’m so thankful y’all found each other in that tiny acting studio in downtown Richmond! Thank you for choosing me to document your journey! Counting the days till April 30th, 2022!
