WOW! What a BEAUTY!

Gretchen’s senior photo shoot started EARLY! Gretchen was getting her hair and makeup done by 6am and I was in the car driving to Raleigh by 5:45am. Michelle Clark did an amazing job with Gretchen’s hair and makeup! Thank you Michelle! Getting up early is often what it takes to pull off an incredible senior session because great lighting is so important! Oh… and did I mention that having the most GORGEOUS subject to photograph helps too? Those crystal blue eyes…her sweet smile…and her giggle…was the perfect combination to create these amazing images!

Gretchen decided she wanted an urban and garden senior session. We started her shoot in Downtown Raleigh. It was so early that we had the city to ourselves! After an hour and 3 outfits later, we headed for the Rose Garden. I was delighted when we arrived to see how many roses were still in bloom and how lush the garden was despite the cooler temperatures.

Gretchen… was an absolute DREAM to photograph! Her easy going attitude and willingness to try new poses and locations helped to make her gallery so beautiful.

Gretchen, you are such an amazing young woman! Wishing you all the very best as you finish out your senior year! I can’t wait to see where life takes you because its going to be a FABULOUS journey!
