Almost a year ago, I received a text from my friend Sarah asking if I was available to photograph her wedding that was planned for March 31st, 2023. I will never forget the chills that ran throughout my body reading that message. Sarah had found him… her FOREVER love! Sarah is truly one of the most kind and deserving humans I know, so I was eager to meet this special man! Without even looking at my calendar I replied… YES! I’m available!

As I drove to Sunset Beach the day of the wedding I was reminded of how life is full of second chances. We never know what the future holds, but doing life with the one you love sure makes the journey that much more enjoyable. I’m so thankful that Sarah and Scott’s futures include each other. I can’t wait to see where life will take them and all of the good that will come out of their relationship.

When I arrived at the house, I heard a friendly voice from the balcony. There he was… Sarah’s husband to be. Scott introduced himself and I noticed right away that he is outgoing and incredibly friendly. Also, he has the warmest smile, and is obviously deeply in love with Sarah. I knew right then, that this was a match made in heaven!

I went to say hello to Sarah and was blown away by how radiant she was! She had this glow about her that made me so incredibly happy for the day ahead. Sarah was relaxed and ready to make it official!

Sarah and Scott wanted to do a First Look before the ceremony. A First Look in my opinion is truly the most spectacular time of a wedding day besides saying… I DO. When Scott locked eyes on Sarah it was a moment I know they will never forget. Scott was blown away by the beauty of his bride to be yet you could see the excitement that he was ready to make her his wife.

Sarah and Scott… I’m honored that I was chosen to walk along side of you to document your wedding day. There is no doubt in my mind the two of you will have a beautiful life together.
